Rehearsals
We rehearse on Thursdays at 7 p.m. in Greenbelt Community Center. If you would like to join us, please fill out the Interest Form to be added to our email list for communications.

We are currently seeking percussion, tuba and double bass players! We have a waiting list of flutes, clarinets and trumpets. We will also need additional low brass, French horns, percussion and a second harpist for our November 14/15, 2026 concerts (The Planets).

Concerts

Our next concert, on Sunday, May 31 at 4pm will feature American music in honor of the 250th anniversary, including Grofe's Mississippi Suite, the 4th movement of Dvorak's New World Symphony, Florence Price's Adoration, Leroy Anderson's The Typewriter, and Gould's American Salute.

We are planning exciting concerts for Saturday, November 14 and Sunday, November 16, 2026, featuring performances of Holst's The Planets, with imagery and commentary from NASA scientists.

Sign up here to receive email notifications about future concerts.

Please consider donating to the orchestra so that we can continue to perform free concerts in the community, and so that we can play a more diverse selection of music (it is expensive to pay for the rights and rent the parts for music that is not in the public domain, e.g. music by women and people of color).
